OWENS PRAISES CHOICE OF FOSTER AS FINALIST FOR MESA STATE PRESIDENT
(DENVER) - Gov. Bill Owens this afternoon issued the following statement on the selection of Tim Foster, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, as a finalist for the presidency of Mesa State University:
"I congratulate the trustees of Mesa State for choosing Tim Foster as a finalist. Tim is a proven leader and a dynamic innovator who has brought change and accountability to higher education throughout Colorado. He has earned national attention for his efforts to empower individual college students and expand the number of Coloradans who choose higher education. I was proud to have him in my Cabinet. I am grateful for his service to the people of Colorado, in the Cabinet and in the Legislature."
