SENATE BILL 05-161 [Digest]

AN ACT


Concerning the elimination of an examination for a private citizen who installs a well on the citizen's property entirely for the citizen's own use.

 


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:

 

  SECTION 1.  37-91-106 (3), Colorado Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

 

  37-91-106.  Persons previously licensed - exemptions. (3)  Private drillers and private pump installers are exempt from all license requirements under this article; except that such entities shall be required to take and pass an examination concerning and shall comply with minimum construction standards as required by section 37-91-110 and the rules of the board.

 

  SECTION 2.  Safety clause. The general assembly hereby finds, determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety.
