Director

Dan L. Cartin
Based on the recommendation of the Committee on Legal Services, the Executive Committee of the Legislative Council, created in section 2-3-301, C.R.S., appoints a director of the Office of Legislative Legal Services who is an attorney-at-law. Dan L. Cartin was appointed director in 2010. The director appoints a professional staff, which includes attorneys-at-law and technical and clerical personnel to assist in the operation of the Office.

In addition, the director of the Office of Legislative Legal Services or the director's designee serves ex officio as secretary to the Colorado Commission on Uniform State Laws.
