Welcome to the web site of
the Colorado Office of Legislative Legal
Services (OLLS). The Office of Legislative Legal Services is the
non-partisan,
in-house counsel for the Colorado General Assembly and writes laws,
produces statutes, reviews administrative rules, comments on initiated
measures, and serves as a resource of legislative information for the
public. The OLLS is committed to customer service, professional
competence, and the highest standards of professional integrity.
As the embodiment of the idea of political self-determination, the Colorado legislative process needs to be accessible and understandable to citizens. Similarly, those of us whose job it is to facilitate that process should strive to keep it as open, courteous, and business-like as possible while serving the needs of legislators and the public. This web site is established to provide access to information that will assist persons interested in the Colorado legislative process and the duties and functions of the OLLS. |
