Figure Setting Recommendations:  Beginning in February, the staff provide written and verbal recommendations on the budget for the next fiscal year.  This includes recommendations on the number of employees, funding, and footnotes (expressions of legislative intent on use of the appropriation) for each department.  This is a copy of the written document presented to the JBC and does not represent any official action by the JBC.
